So we had an unexpected turn of events on Tuesday morning that saw us into Nebraska again after only about 7 weeks. Eric’s brother and wife had their fourth child (and fourth girl) early in the morning on Tuesday. Because of the speed of the actual birthing, she swallowed amniotic fluid and other stuff and ended up not breathing well and full of infection. She was on 100% oxygen for awhile and is still today on oxygen. Everyone was pretty freaked out so we shot back home to at least see her if she wasn’t going to make it. Thanks to God that He is faithful and has our times and seasons in His hands. We trust His leadership although in some moments it seems to be less than perfect according to my carnal will and emotions.
So I have a fourth neice. Cute as ever just like the others. She, however, has a head full of dark hair while the other three have blonde curls. Born at 4:27 am at 6′lb 14 oz and 18 1/2 inches long. She looks like a little tiny thing especially next to Fin. Her name is Mystre Hope. (Just like mystery) There’s a story behind the name, like all names, but it’s not mine to tell.
Since she’s doing fine but still in the hospital, we’ve been passing the time doing a whole lot of nothing which is driving me crazy. Not crazy enough to rant about Puritans
but still. I’ve eaten my weight in these which are SO good. I’ve also frequented the espresso shoppe about every day and still have managed to sleep til at least 8 am. I also exercised self control and only sampled one of these, but I’ve gotta get a bag or two. Ooooo bueno!
Tonight Eric and i will be having coffee with my beautiful cousin/future midwifery mamma and her husband. We’re going just the 4 of us (plus babies makes 6). Thank you Jesus, we’re free!
Tomorrow morning we’ll be at my parents church since our pastor is at a district conference. Afternoon is scheduled with a BBQ and Monday morning with another coffee date with my sister and a friend. I love coffee and family but I’m sooooooo longing for home.

You’re a weekend early. Me and the girls are headed that way for next weekend. Darn.
And by the way, WHO, on God’s green earth would rant about Puritans? ;o)

It’s taken me some time to realize that I AM BUNKER on your blog. Wow, what a privilege to be there -even if you’ve desecrated my name. Hey, still love you. I’ll have to reciprocate by adding you on mine. Now, what name can I use????
